Polycarbonate (PC) lenses are lighter than glass, scratch resistant, shatter resistant, and offer improved visual clarity over the TAC lenses. TAC is the acronym for Tri Acetate Cellulose used in lens construction. These lenses are comprised of a scratch resistant plastic and block out 99% of all UV rays up to 400 nanometers. Shiny Tortoise and Green frames A brown/black marbling effect accented with lime green across the top of the lenses and arms. Amber lenses brighten vision on cloudy days and in low light situations by blocking blue light and reducing glare.
